Cinder Rose No. 246 by Farrow & Ball is a wildly romantic rose pink with barely any of the yellow pigment found in most pinks—giving it a bluer, more sophisticated feel. Named after one of the prettiest traditional roses, it’s ideal for creating a calm, soothing bedroom that still feels rich and characterful.
Cinder Rose is also a favourite in garden rooms, especially when paired with Skimming Stone for a soft, complementary scheme. To enhance its gentle, romantic quality, use Great White on woodwork and trim for a light, sympathetic contrast.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Mid Tones.
