Drop Cloth No. 283 is a gentle mid grey beige—neither too yellow nor too grey. Named after the indispensable painter’s dust sheet, this muted shade is a nod to painters and decorators and brings a relaxed, lived-in warmth to interiors.
Drop Cloth is the perfect contrast to the slightly lighter Shaded White and Shadow White, creating a trio of neutrals that sit effortlessly together in both modern and traditional homes, large or small. Use it on walls for a calm, grounded backdrop, then layer the lighter shades for a soft, tonal scheme.
