French Gray No. 18 by Farrow & Ball is much more green than grey, but characterfully flits between the two depending on the light and time of day. Inspired by 19th-century French decoration and wallpapers, it creates the most relaxed of rooms with a soft, lived-in elegance.
French Gray is especially popular for exterior woodwork and is a favourite for front doors in Farrow & Ball’s matt Exterior Eggshell. It also looks beautiful on garden furniture, where it sits seamlessly among surrounding greenery for a calm, cohesive outdoor palette.
