Great White No. 2006 by Farrow & Ball is an elegant white with the slightest lilac hint—named not after a shark, but for how wonderful the colour is. When contrasted with All White, Great White can appear like a very pale lilac, making it a beautiful choice for children’s bedrooms and calm spaces where you want to stay fairly neutral while adding a whisper of colour.
Despite a red undertone, it isn’t the warmest of pinks. The merest amount of black pigment lifts Great White into a quietly sophisticated shade with extraordinary depth, helping it feel refined rather than sweet.
