Lamp Room Gray No. 88 by Farrow & Ball is a traditional mid blue-grey originally created after a white room was stained by the trimming of lamp wicks. It delivers a softer, more lived-in finish than Pavilion Gray while still feeling classic and timeless.
This colour has a surprising strength in smaller rooms, adding depth and character without going too dark. In larger, well-lit spaces it softens beautifully, creating an easy, elegant backdrop for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Mid Tones.
