Clean: Use Fusion’s TSP Alternative to remove grease and dust.
Remove wax (if needed): Use Odourless Solvent to remove any wax coating.
Scuff sand (if needed): Lightly sand high-gloss finishes to dull the sheen (aim to de-gloss, not remove the finish). Only sand a clean surface.
Paint: Apply Lavender Haze and paint beautiful.
Priming notes
Priming is usually not necessary. For bleed-through or knots, use Zinsser BIN (shellac-based) primer. For tricky transitions, a mid-tone colour like Sterling can help as a primer.
