The Pointed Sash Brush 2022 features the Pro-Hybrid fibre: 100% synthetic bristles in the characteristic purple colour. The handle is made of FSC beech wood. The bristles are securely fixed in a stainless steel INOX ferrule, with an extra glued green string.
Staalmeester brushes have a cotton string wrapped around the base of the bristles. Do not remove this string.
Always treat the bristles of the brush with care and attention. Clean your brush on time and carefully and never let the paint dry in the brush. This way it retains its softness and elasticity. Should any paint dry on the bristles, soak brush overnight in a water/soap mixture. Water level should not submerge ferrule or cotton string.
Once brush is clean, massage a tiny bit of hair conditioner through the bristles, and rinse out. This will assist in keeping bristles soft.
