Bring your own small piece of furniture and we’ll guide you step-by-step as you transform it on-site.
 
Includes: one pint of Fusion Mineral Paint, guided instruction (prep, paint, finish), one free Fusion colour chart, and 10% off all Fusion Mineral Paint and Fusion products purchased the day of the workshop.

 

Workshop format (2.5 hours)

Prep before class (important)

Please arrive with your piece cleaned and ready to paint. We recommend a thorough wash using Fusion’s TSP Alternative (available for purchase at De Ferrari Home before class), or washing with Dawn dish detergent.

What to bring 

  • One small, all-wood piece of furniture to paint
  • Must be small enough to fit in the front seat of your car and easy to carry in
  • If possible, remove hardware ahead of time (knobs/pulls) and bring it in a bag

What you’ll learn 

  1. Welcome + overview of Fusion Mineral Paint (how it works, choosing colour/finish)
  2. Prep review + quick touch-ups as needed (sanding/masking tips)
  3. Application techniques (brush/roller, smooth finish, edges/detail work)
  4. Second coat + troubleshooting (coverage, dry times, common fixes)
  5. Finishing + care (top coats if needed, curing time, long-term care)
  6. Wrap-up + shopping time (10% off applies that day)
 

 

Notes 

  • Pieces must be small enough to carry in and work on at a table.
  • Dry times vary; you may take your piece home slightly tacky—plan to transport carefully.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on.
